After posting the below comment I received a call from customer service for Amazon.com. He was able to address my concerns and informed me that my DEWALT DCF813S2 12-Volt Max 3/8-Inch Impact Wrench Kit was received today and will be processed for shipping today or tomorrow and that I should receive the unit some time next week. I was unaware that the unit was not in stock when I ordered it but I was made aware that it is clearly stated on their web-site that additional processing time is needed. I made my payment through Amazon payments and it was explained that that was why my credit card was charged so soon, without the unit being shipped yet. Overall I would say that I am satisfied with the response of the customer service at Amazon.com and that my initial displeasure has been abated. I ordered a DEWALT DCF813S2 12-Volt Max 3/8-Inch Impact Wrench Kit and I still have not received a tracking number on the order, because it has not shipped yet. They charged my credit card rather quickly though.
